The Kyrgyz Republic was redivsented for the first time with a National Pavilion at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026), which served as a platform to showcase the country's investment, export, and economic potential.

Throughout the forum, the National Pavilion featured video divsentations and promotional materials highlighting priority national projects and promising areas for the development of the Kyrgyz Republic. Particular attention was given to projects in hydropower, agriculture, export development, and the country's investment opportunities. Projects of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund aimed at supporting industry, energy, the agro-industrial sector, and other branches of the economy were also divsented.

On June 3, 2026, the official opening ceremony of the National Pavilion of the Kyrgyz Republic took place with the participation of Mr. Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The pavilion showcased the capabilities of JSC Uchkun in producing state-issued documents, including passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, and vehicle registration certificates. Central Asian Security Printing House LLC divsented its capabilities in producing secure banknotes and other security printing products in compliance with international standards.

Particular interest among forum participants was generated by the Kyrgyz Republic’s strategic projects — the year-round mountain tourism cluster "Ala-Too Resort" and the Special Financial and Investment Territory "Tamchy", both aimed at attracting investment, developing tourism, and creating new centers of economic growth.

As a result of the Kyrgyz Republic’s participation in SPIEF 2026, a total of 14 agreements and memoranda were signed, covering trade and economic cooperation, investment, science and technology, education, and interregional cooperation.

Among the key documents signed were:

1. An Agreement on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Socio-Humanitarian Cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

2. A Cooperation Agreement between the Kyrgyz Export Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

3. A Cooperation Agreement between the Kyrgyz Export Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

4. A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Export Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Congress Bureau Association.

5. A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Export Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Fashion Industry Association aimed at developing partnerships, exchanging expertise, and supporting light industry enterprises.

6. A Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Sirius Innovation Science and Technology Center on the development of educational technologies and support for gifted children in the city of Karakol.

7. A Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in Trade and Economic Interaction between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region of the Russian Federation.

8. A Cooperation Agreement between the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and MGIMO University.

9. A Cooperation Agreement between the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University).

10. A Cooperation Agreement between the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and JSC Development Corporation of the Kaliningrad Region.

11. A Cooperation Agreement between the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the All-Russian Public Organization “Business Russia”.

12. A Memorandum of Cooperation between JSC Chakan HPP and Rakurs Engineering LLC.

13. A Memorandum of Cooperation between JSC Electric Power Plants and JSC Elektroshchit Samara.

14. An Agreement on Information Cooperation between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and VEB.RF.

The participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in SPIEF 2026 marked an important step toward strengthening international cooperation, expanding investment partnerships, and promoting the country's economic interests on the global stage.
