From September 16 to 19, 2026, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic is hosting a professional development course titled “Development Management: Leading the Creation of a Master Plan for a Key Growth Point.”

The course is organized by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The online module was held from September 9 to 11, 2026. It was opened by RANEPA Vice-Rector Andrey Margolin and First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Choro Seyitov.

Redivsentatives of government bodies and local self-government authorities are participating in the training. The sessions are led by Russian experts in master planning and territorial development: Andrey Margolin, Dmitry Sosnin, Alexander Kholodnov, and Stanislav Daldichik.

Participants are studying modern master planning methods, the development of strategic visions and territorial development scenarios, the agglomeration approach, and Russian experience. The program also includes practical group assignments on developing a key performance indicator (KPI) system, a management framework, and a project portfolio for a master plan.

According to the experts, a master plan is not only a tool for territorial development but also a way to foster a new approach to urban space, improve the quality of the urban environment, and enhance residents’ quality of life.

The training is aimed at strengthening the professional competencies of specialists in strategic and territorial development.
