Today, September 8th, 2026, Minister of energy of Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Rysbekov held a working meeting with the heads of energy companies, organizations and structural units of the Department following the preparation and conduct of the events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and the VI World Nomad Games.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the energy sector's leaders and employees for the coordinated and responsible work to ensure reliable electricity supply for two major international events.

Over 600 energy professionals worked in the round-the-clock reinforced mode during the events, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to key facilities and sites. Energy company leaders, Energy Ministry employees and industry professionals were involved in the organization of the work, who coordinated the work on the ground and during the trips and ensured the stable functioning of energy infrastructure facilities.

Conducting such large-scale events became an important professional experience for the energy sector. We have shown that we can provide reliable power for world-class events. The minister also thanked everyone who contributed to ensuring the successful completion of the tasks set out, Altynbek Rysbekov noted. He also stressed the importance of quality and uninterrupted work of energy infrastructure facilities during the events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held in the Talas region on 11-12 September. The heads of industry organizations are instructed to step up the work in all directions and ensure timely implementation of planned repair, reconstruction and modernization activities.
